2021 YONGWANG OPENING CEREMONY was held in Zhenhai District, Ningbo. Artistic installations were put up in the harvested rice fields, exhilarating the charm of the countryside and attracting people’s attention to the revitalization and development of the villages. Activities included Yongwang market and lighting ceremony, which opened a new chapter for the winter overture.
Liquid Impact took the local characteristics into the plan and designed an immersive street market for visitors. Visitors were amazed by the surprises in the rice fields in the daytime, and they enjoyed a visual feast after the sunset. As the sea of LED roses was lighted up, the illuminated balloon, like a bright moon, slowly rose into the sky. The hand drum band entered the rice field, singing the song of harvest. The guests danced around the bonfire in the ensemble rhythm of brass and tambourine orchestra, pushing the event to a climax.
The day before, the local government decided to impose more strict epidemic prevention regulations. While following the government instructions, we streamlined the construction process and quickly responded to unexpected changes. The event turned out to be smooth and successful.
