Liquid Impact co-operated with GSMA’s MWC Shanghai 2017 to provide organization and on-site management in the Gaming area.
With the increasing popularity of mobile gaming, it is important to emphasize that mobiles are a viable gaming platform. An online tournament was staged for the third year running at the experience zone in World Mobile Congress Shanghai. It’s the third time Liquid Impact was entrusted with this area, the Liquid Impact team were responsible for the organization, design, production, live streaming and on-site management for mobile gaming.
King of Glory (王之荣耀) was selected as this years game, and eight teams were invited to play in a 4 day tournament. Each team consisted of one KOL caster player and a professional girls’ team. On the final day of the tournament, two hot KOL players were invited to fight against the final winners team. Characters from the game were also cosplayed to interact with, and and attract on-site audience.
The four-day gaming competition attracted more than 30,000 visitors onsite and had over 1.3 million visitors online.
